About the Home & School Organization
The South Boston Catholic Academy Home and School Organization is a school-wide parent organization that supports student and family activities. The Organization seeks to create and enhance a sense of community and a school family. Parents support the organization through volunteering at fundraising events.
Home & School Parent Fundraising Obligation
The Home and School Fundraising obligation is separate from each family’s ‘parent fundraising responsibility’ ($300 per family for the Christmas calendars). The Home and School fundraising obligation is built into the school budget. A budget forecast statement was sent along with tuition rates for the school year.
All families are expected to participate in order for us to meet our fundraising responsibility. All money raised through Home and School initiatives directly helps to defray the cost of tuition increases.
