This week in the art room we have been using lines in every class. Grade 1 and grade 3 used wavy, zigzag and straight lines to create landscapes. In k2 students used lines to discover the angry monsters that were hiding in their papers. Grades 2 and 4 used lines to create volume and illusion while grade 5 is creating contour line drawings of their shoes. In middle school students are starting sketch books and spent the their first class creating interesting name design covers.
