First Communion Retreat!

April 30th, 2010

The 2nd graders participated in a First Communion Retreat where they made the bread of Jesus’ body and the wine for his blood. We also weaved crosses and made flowers with special intentions or prayers on them! We used flour, salt and water to make the bread and used our hands to squish the grapes that eventually turned into juice! It was a fun time for all!

Thank you to all volunteers who helped on the day, who donated materials, and bought grapes! Thanks to Mrs. Cox for taking pictures! Stay tuned for First Communion pictures!
