Nick Rodriques
Learning Support Specialist
Nick comes to South Boston Catholic Academy with the bulk of his experience working with diverse learners with wide variety of cognitive, social, intellectual, behavioral, and learning disabilities. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of New Haven in Connecticut, where he was also very involved in student government, service learning, and athletics. Nick began his work in education at Common Ground High School in New Haven. More recently, Nick worked in Brookline at the Ivy Street School as a Special Education classroom teacher. While working at the Ivy Street School, Nick attended The George Washington University on a teaching fellowship where he obtained his Masters degree in Education and Human Development. In the fall, Nick will be returning to school at Harvard where he will study Instructional Design and Technology. Outside of school, Nick volunteers with the Federation for Children with Special Needs as a Special Education Surrogate Parent and educational advocate
